Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Okie Market, we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for both Buyers and Sellers. This Return & Refund Policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled across our multi-vendor platform.

Because we partner with independent Sellers, each product may be subject to unique return conditions. However, Okie Market enforces a standard minimum policy that all Sellers must honor.

2. Standard Return Window

  • Buyers may initiate a return request within 14 calendar days of receiving their order.
  • After 14 days, Sellers are not obligated to accept returns unless otherwise specified in their product listing.

3. Eligible Return Conditions

A product may be eligible for return if:

  • It was received damaged or defective.
  • It does not match the description or images in the listing.
  • The wrong item was delivered.
  • The Buyer is dissatisfied and the Seller permits returns for "change of mind" (if noted on the listing).

Items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • In original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable due to health, safety, or customization, including but not limited to:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants).
  • Personal care or hygiene products.
  • Custom or made-to-order items.
  • Digital goods or services.

5. Return Process

  1. Buyer initiates a return request via their Okie Market account.
  2. The Seller will respond within 3 business days to approve or deny the request.
  3. If approved, Buyer will receive instructions for return shipping.
  4. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was:
  • Damaged, incorrect, or defective.
  • Sold with "free returns" as part of the listing.
  1. Once the Seller receives the returned item, they must inspect and confirm the return within 5 business days.

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the Seller confirms the returned item.
  • Okie Market reserves the right to issue refunds directly if the Seller is non-responsive or violates platform policies.

7. Disputes & Platform Protection

If the Buyer and Seller cannot reach an agreement, Okie Market may step in to mediate and resolve the dispute. In such cases, our decision is final.

Buyers who paid a Protection Fee (if applicable) are eligible for full platform-backed coverage, including automatic refunds or replacements for qualifying issues.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If the Buyer has not received a refund after 10 business days:

  • First, check with their bank or credit card provider.

9. Fraud & Abuse

Okie Market reserves the right to suspend or terminate Buyer or Seller accounts that:

  • Abuse the return process.
  • Repeatedly return items without valid reason.
  • Attempt to bypass platform protections.

10. Modifications to This Policy

This Return & Refund Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page and communicated to users via email or dashboard notifications.
